British Ambassador and British Experts Present the Olympic Park and Urban Regeneration of East London
To mark this year’s Olympic and Paralympic Games the British Embassy in Zagreb will present the Olympic Park project and urban regeneration of East London this Saturday in Zadar.
The Olympic Park is one of the largest urban development projects in Europe. The model of the Olympic Park emphasises the scale of the massive urban regeneration project. This project positions the Olympic Park as a “must see, must return” destination, focused on vibrant communities, world-renowned sporting facilities, public parklands and open spaces.
The model shows the innovations in the development of the Olympic Park, such as the concentric rings of the main Olympic Stadium, which will have 80,000 seats during the Games and only 25,000 afterwards.
